Why Tone Up classes could be the key to achieving your goals:

I've recently witnessed a huge increase in the popularity of hybrid training. Blending different training styles and incorporating variety into how you move is something I champion at Move Energise Glow. As women, it's important to remember that our bodies are not machines. The changes in our hormones throughout the month can result in fluctuations in mood, energy levels, recovery, and even strength. To help combat this, a hybrid approach to training that involves strength, Pilates, and HIIT can be the key to maintaining consistency and working towards sustainable results. This is why my Tone Up classes are such a popular option within the female community.

The low-impact nature of Pilates provides an excellent counterbalance to the more high-impact activities like strength training, conditioning, and cardio such as HIIT. While these high-impact workouts are effective for building muscle, improving strength, and enhancing cardiovascular fitness, they can be particularly taxing on the body and central nervous system. Incorporating lower-impact movements into your routine alongside strength and cardio training allows you to stay active without overtraining. It also enables you to enhance other aspects of your fitness, including muscular endurance, tone, core stability, control, and posture.


This hybrid blend of training can be essential for avoiding burnout, maintaining consistency, and maximising your performance across all aspects of your fitness routine. Long-term consistency is crucial not only for achieving results but also for sustaining them.

How it works:

Join the Move, Energise, Glow community and meet me, your personal trainer (online or in person) who will motivate and challenge you to meet your goals, as well as a community of other like minded women inspired to begin their fitness journey. 

​

Classes in person:

Join me, in person, for small group classes that are situated in the heart of the beautiful valley of Swainswick, just North of Bath (the perfect setting in which to de-stress and re-energise). This is an opportunity for me to work closely with you, tailoring exercises towards achieving your personal goals and teaching you the correct techniques to enable you to get the most out of each and every workout.

All you will need for these sessions is a bottle of water to keep hydrated, a mat and high energy.

​

These in person classes have a limited capacity of 6 per class and are proving very popular already so please contact me if you are interested (meg.moveenergiseglow@gmail.com).

Classes online:

Workout from the comfort of your own home, where you can wear what you like and work up a sweat and no one will be any the wiser!

​

A session will typically consist of a 5-minute dynamic warm-up, followed by 30 minutes of strength training, 20 minutes of pilates, and a 5-minute cool down and relaxation. To get the most out of these workouts you'll need water (keeping your body hydrated is essential), an exercise mat and a set of dumbbells (these can be substituted for a set of equally weighted items that are to hand e.g. can of beans).

Ensure you are confident and comfortable with the exercises before attending a Tone Up class by booking a free 1-1 technique class, available both in-person and online!
